A.B.S. Molded Base

The base is an essential part of the spa because it holds the whole spa cabinet and electrical equipment off the ground. This feature essentially waterproofs the inside of the cabinet. The ABS base also protects against downward heat loss thus conserving energy and helps in reducing heating costs.

The base is attached with heavy duty galvanized screws. It’s what you don’t see, or ever think about that makes a Heritage spa superior!

Spa Shell Structure

Multi layer resin system

Vinyl Ester resin is used with the first layer of fiberglass. This is known as the bonding layer. The first layer of vinyl ester is used to ensure against delimitation. In other words the fiberglass layers used to reinforce the acrylic shell bond together permanently ensuring the spas long life.

Closed Cell Insulation

This feature helps maintain temperature and significantly reduces running cots compared to others who use so called ” flow coats”, thin and or poor quality foams  that have a low R factor.

Tip test” hands on” the quality of the insulation, give it the finger test. If your finger pokes through foam or it doesn’t feel solid to touch then the insulation is of poor quality.

Unique Plumbing

This high grade chemical and heat resistant flexible tube is the N0.1 high Pressure spa hose on the world market.

ITS STRENGTHS ARE:

• Unlike standard reinforced hose, Cana flex has the ability to bend over 180degr without collapsing.
• This high grade PVC hose is designed to withstand the spas high temperatures combined with harsh spa chemicals like alkalines and acids, where standard reinforced plastic hose will perish in time.
• The pipe is primed and then treated with a special PVC pipe cement, this plastic welds the fittings together, where a standard hose will be slipped over a barbed fitting which is only as good as the clamps if fitted.

Like standard pressure PVC pressure pipe canaflex hose is self supporting and does NOT REDUCE water flow due to un-needed 90degree and other bends.

In other words the pipe work “flowed “better and therefore gives a greater performance overall.

Energy Smart 24hr Recirculation pump

This ensures the Laing system is 3-5 times electrically more efficient therefore saving you running costs.

The Laing circulation is almost silent.

Warranty

Some spas are cheap but you have to decide if you are comfortable with let’s say a 12 month warranty.

Remember a cheaper spa comes at some cost and it is usually the warranty periods that is cut back because you are not paying for full service. That’s fine till you need that service.

Ergonomics

This is one of the greatest traps people fall into not looking carefully at the individual seating arrangement with a thought process in place to assure yourself that you can move about the spa with ease and that you are comfortable in at least most of the seating arrangements.

Obviously the best insurance is to try the seating in the spa dry before purchasing.

You wouldn’t buy a dining room table without seating at it so why would you buy a spa without sitting in it?
